for me normally fear does not rule my world
i am a dare devil and it is normally easy for me to take a risk and do spontanous things-i am not talking bout life threatening

but sometime i fell alone and lonely or when i watch a really freaky movie or when i just have a freak thought in my head or something , it does kinda take over my "world"

so for me at least, fear sometimes takes over my world, but not all the time

unfortunately... yes. but that is because of what i am actually afraid of, not because my knees are knocking together. i have the secret "knowledge" (which is hard not to act on even though it is a lie) that i am a failure. if i take a risk, then the possibility that i fail increases, which means that it is easier to provde to myself and to others that i am a failure.

The trick is to act through the fear, to act in spite of it, and not to let it keep you down.

it depends. If it is like singing by my slef in front of a crowd, then fear completely rules over me. But if it is like introducing my self to other people, expressing my feelings, or talking to a large group of people, i am completely fine. I LOVE talking in front of HUGE amounts of people, it is fun! I will take a risk unless it is stupid, but i will risk the singing one./

It used to. Then I realized that I was not living my life to its full extent and missing out on a lot of wonderful experiences. So, I made a commitment to myself to try new things and even if I was a little scared I did it afraid and I 'm a much better person because of it.

No it doesn't. Not at all. What rules my world is a little sable shih tzu who thinks he runs the place. Pax - C

Only with respect to my children.

I can't seem to have faith that things will be OK if I butt out.
