Ok well i was chosen to go on this wonder ful trip beczuse of my acadenics and student leadership skills but the thing is the trip cost over $5,000 and i dont know how to raise that much money in order to go!!! So if anyone has any ideas please tell me!!!!

Ask the people who chose you. They must have some idea or resource that they can refer you to so that you can secure funding. Not everyone has an extra five grand laying around to go to Italy. Some people have to work their whole lives and go after they retire!! They should point you in the right direction or have your group do some kind of fundraiser.

It sound like a rip off unless you are going to stay several months. Airfare is about 6 or 7 hundred dollars and food and hotels can be gotten for less than $200 a day and much less if you stay in youth hostels. My son traveled in Europe for a month including 10 days in Italy for less that $3000.

I got to go to London on a student trip, but only because of student loans.
It is worth it, because you may never have this kind of chance in the future. Make sure to get a little extra for spending money. I didn't and had a great time, but I couldn't do everything.
