How does one go there from Ramses?
Is it any good? Have u been there before ? What kind of pets do they sell?

There is almost every sort of pet imaginable for sale there, even Ants of all types and varieties.
I found it a bit troubling actually, as many of the animals were obviously malnourished and many were cramped into tiny crates or chained with a lead so short they could hardly move.
I would advise any animal lover to stay away and buy their pets elsewhere.
It's certainly was not a place I will go to again in a hurry.
I love animals too much to see them unnecessarily distressed like that.

Actually, it is near El Qal3a in a place called El Sayeda Aisha.
You can take many bus lines from Ramses such as 83 - 160 - 72 and many more.
They sell all kinds of pets over there and also all kinds of pet foods. This souq is held once per week on Friday. Good luck.

no i didn't go there before. but i heard they have all kind of pets there..It has to be good, at least price wise..It is somwhere near kobry elsayeda 3esha..it's far from Ramses..
Take a taxi better..
Are you going to buy a mate for "stomp"?

They have all kinds of pets... snakes, all kinds of birds, dogs cats, lezards, and in the black market u can find lions...
But take good care and don't go with a lot of cash!

Hmm can't say I've heard of it... but then again, I only visit Cairo, I don't live there.
