I have a tutor at uni called Crawford Gribben which isn't particularly funny but does sound like something out of Harry Potter and the funny part is, the guy looks like some sort of smiley little gnome or leprechaun.

My mom's boyfriend when she was in high school has to be the winner...now this was a REAL PERSON: Louis Plimpton Alabaster III. From an old photo she kept, he was a really handsome guy with wavy hair...and played the saxophone. I think it was the "III" that made me crack up. Imagine two OTHER folks called that!
