I dropped out of high school due to some medical problems. i'm turning 17 soon and i plan on getting my GED this fall and taking the SATs. I've always been a great student, but somewhere along the lines things just didn't work out. I've always wanted to go to Purdue University, but now i'm afraid i won't get accepted when i send in my application next year.

Do well on your GED exam and score very highly on the SATs. If your transcript prior to leaving high school is good and if you are active in the community...you have a chance.

Do well on your SAT's. Apply to Purdue. Apply to other schools as back-ups and ALWAYS apply to a community college. It's cheaper and it gives you a chance to prove yourself to the big schools that you want to finish school.

If your SAT scores are high, you may have a chance. You will have to write an essay to get into school. You will have the opportunity to address why you didn't finish High School.

I got into a few different schools just by submitting my GED scores.

I would recommend high scores on your SATs, and to have someone proofread your admissions essay before you send it in.
