Do not try to repair it. Replace it, or if it is still new(with atleast a reciept), try to return it to the place of purchase. If you spent way too much on it and want some justice...try contacting the manufacturer and give them a compelling complaint. It can't hurt.

The heating coil might be damaged, if this is the case you'll need to get a tech to remove the coil and attach a new one.
