Does any one know when the next book in The Wheel of Time series comes out?

This is one of my favorite all time series! If you are a fan, you should go to www.dragonmount.com as the official site with all the latest updates. There is even a blog that Robert Jordan posts. Here's a quote from the site about the publication date:

"Robert Jordan is busy writing Book 12 as you read this. His direct quote is, "I guarantee that Book 12 will be published shortly after I finish writing it." He is also absolutely certain that this will be the final book of the series, no matter how long, because there are no more stopping points that would allow him to write two or more coherent books. Because this will easily be the longest book of the series it will probably not be published until 2009. He does have a tentative title, A Memory of Light."

If you haven't heard, Robert Jordan has a serious disease called amyloidosis, which is rare, and it has been touch and go over the past few years. We are lucky he is still alive and working on the final WOT book!

A Memory of Light is the working title for the twelfth book, and final book, of the popular The Wheel of Time fantasy series. It will be published by Tor Books and released in early 2009. tWoT began in 1990 with The Eye of the World.
