When you love someone it really is about the all and the something, the everything and never about the none things. Simple English when you remove all the negatives surrounding love you can only receive the positive. The definition of love can be found in the Bible under Jesus.

The way I'm reading what you are asking I would have to say no. I love my boyfriend dearly, he's everything I ever wanted but I don't spend every bit of my energy investing in the relationship. I have outside hobbies and friends and don't look to him to fulfill every intellectual and emotional need I have. He's the greatest thing ever but he's not the only thing ever.

When you truly love someone its all or nothing. If you can't put yourself completely into the relationship then it simply isnt love.

In love - like the Olympic Games - you don't win silver, you lose gold....it is all or nothing.

NO why would it be? Love is compromise and you learn to deal with the other persons issues as well as they learn to deal with yours. Is there like a specific question here?

If it's not all or nothing,
it's not love, or at least
fascination.
