I knew the first night we met that he was a keeper. We talked for hours. He was in the middle of a divorce and I was ending a long relationship that wasn't going any where. We had a lot of the same hopes and dreams. We wanted the same things out of the other. We talked for hours like old friends. He had me from that moment. We spoke every day. Shortly after we met he was sent away on business, what was suppose to be two days turned into two weeks. He was so miserable being down there away from me. We have never missed one day of communication. We talk via phone, email, text, and see each other when ever we can. Next Thursday we are going to pick out my ring. He is the most romantic, calm, loving person that I have ever ment in my life. I thank god every day for bringing us together.

I knew my guy was a keeper simply by the way he was with me. When guys make a lady feel like a woman, and at the same time be someone who she feels she can say ANYTHING I mean EVERYTHING to, u r a KEEPER! I think it has to do with personality and both hearts being in sync.

I knew right from our first date that my guy was a keeper. Even though we had just met, it was like I had known him for a long time. As time went on, no matter what we went through, he always showed that he loved me and we were the best of friends.

I knew that mine was a keeper on our very first date.... We went to a baseball game and I sensed that he was nervous which was really cute. After the game we walked back to his car... We were parked up on top one of the higher lots overlooking the city, he gave me a hug before he opened the door for me and when he held me it felt like nothing I had ever felt before! I knew at that moment that we would be together. We've been married almost a year now.

I saw him taking care of a friends baby while she was out partying. He could've gone out but he would rather know that the baby was safe and well taken care of. She had colic and was screaming and all he wanted in the world was to help her to not be in pain anymore. That stole my heart. The next day I asked a friend, "why can't I have a guy like that?" he proposed within two weeks of that and I didn't have to think twice LOL during that time I also saw him taking care of many of his friends, cooking, cleaning, working and taking care of my daughter. You cannot let a guy like that go! 12 years later he is just as awesome!

he made me laugh and smile, and i felt completely comfortable with him, and 100 percent safe. and he is such a sweetheart. we were both from the same state (met in the military), and had so much in common. we finish each other's sentences all the time, and always know that the other is thinking. i guess it was just one of those things that just clicked, and i knew i had to be with him. plus, he's a drummer, and i have a thing for drummers! can't believe that in 2 weeks, it'll be 5 years of marriage!!!!!

One day I got into a huge fight with my ex, over the phone. Soon after I hung up with my ex (Ryan), Kyle (a friend at the time, now my husband) called. He was getting off work (around 11pm) and wanted to see if me and our mutual friend wanted to hang out (we hung out after he got off work a lot). I said, "You guys can hang out if you want. I'm gonna go for a walk to calm down." He could tell I'd been crying. He said, "You're not going walking around this down in the middle of the night." I said, "I'm going for a walk." He said, "Not by yourself. Wait till I get there." He came to my house and went walking with me. He didn't try to fix everything, or understand what I was feeling. He just walked with me. We eventually circled around back to my house, and sat outside on the curb and I told him what happened with my ex. He just listened, and then after a couple minutes he gave me a hug and just let me cry on his shoulder. I never wanted him to let go. I'd never felt so cared for or as safe as I did in his arms. Before that, I knew we had some feelings for each other, but when he could be my friend, be there for me, comfort me, listen to me, even when it was all about my ex...I knew I'd never let this one go.

I liked it when I was following him in my car to his house, and I had to stop for gas.
He got out of his truck and came over to put the gas in MY car.
That meant alot to me.
I like a man that wants to take care of me.
