what is your alcohol tolerance?

i've just come back from a meeting - im rubbish one glass of wine and a small bacardi and diet coke - and i feel the room is spinning.......i need to sleep now -

It all depends on the time frame, the activity, and if I have eaten prior to drinking. Ideally if I have had a good meal and have been drinking over a long period and I am partying or dancing during or immediately afterward I can probably tolerate about 6 or 7 drinks without issues. But you have to remember everyone is different so I would not necessarily call you a cheap date you can just reach your buzz point more quickly than others!! You can also gradually build a higher tolerance with careful diligence and dedication (ha ha). But please be sure that you are safe in your bed before you decide to fall asleep after a few too many LOL!!

Not a big drinker anymore. Im getting old (ripe ol...ALMOST 32....)
10 years ago I could throw back shot after shot of tequila, sambuca, jager...(And I am fairly small....5'4"/125)

Enter my 25th birthday circa September 2000.

Me, my bro (were only 2 years apart and have many mutual friends) and our friends went out and I got so snapped that I was hung over 2 days, and don't remember much...except i was carried out of the bar.

Needless to say I may have A beer or 2 or A couple of glasses of wine and that'll do it. Pretty pathetic, huh?

A couple weeks ago I had 4 glasses of port and I got TANKED...fell and fractured my tailbone...so...No more port for me...I'll stick to Corona or Merlot

First off, never ever drink different kinds of alcohol. Don't mix between drinks. Mixed drinks, and wine. BAD idea. If you knew me before hand, you wouldn't be able to tell if I almost drank a whole bottle of Parrot Bay, or not. I am WELL trained to NOT EVER go near a motor vehicle. I have way too much respect for everyone else, even if I was starving, or wanted to go out for anything else.

My limit varies drastically. 2 pints of lager and I am falling about like the toddler learning to walk. At the week end I was at a wedding and drank a case of Millers ice cold and a double Jack Daniels, was neither up nor down. I have come to believe that it depends on my mood if I get P*ssed or not.

The last time I went out....I split a bottle of whiskey with my boyfriend and had 2 beers at a private party...then we went to the bar where I had 3 shots of jeager and 2 of Dr. McGillicudy, with beer each time.
Still managed to walk home just fine .
Tonight I'm going out again...would you like a report?

Normally I can manage 2 glasses of wine, but can't drink at the moment for the sake of my baby :)

I can usually last longer, but I don't drink to get drunk. I drink because I like the taste. I usually have about 3 glass of wine and I start getting a headache.

A litre of whisky a night if i stay in no problem.But in a pub.I feel
it after 8-9 pints of lager.Can drink any amount of whisky & cokes.

I can drink a gallon of Steel Reserve and a pint of Old Crow before the party even starts!
