Why do you have to point out?

When somebody misspells something? Sometimes it's done for a reason.

Because some people are overly critical.

If what ever is misspelled doesn't change or confuse the question asked, thereby affecting a correct or at least well thought out answer, I just let it pass.

Who cares so much about spelling here? I try to spell correctly, and at times use the spell check, but I'm not going to criticize others if they don't have the same skills I have. I'm here for FUN! Besides, if you want to cuss and swear, you have to misspell something.

I don't know... I guess they just want to seem smart. I consider myself a decent speller... but I don't care if someone misspells something as long as I can tell what they mean.

i misspell all the time but it because i not good with the key board.. and to hunt and punch out the words some of the words get lost

To teach them. People who intentionally misspell things are even more idiotic than those who accidentally do so.

Besides, there's a check spelling button right above every answer. So not only do people who misspell things look stupid, they also look lazy.

mostly just to shorten the words
like on other webistes I don't spell out the words I just use easier ways like

I never question cause if you don't have enough sense to realize the word you are just plain ole dumb. For me I always use check spell and if that doesnt do the trick i use my dictionary.
