i tend to half hide under the duvet scared stiff,elbowing my partner only to be met by his snoring (this is the man who said if i was ever worried about noises at night to call him and he would investigate!!).i did get very scared once as there were things being knocked over downstairs and i could hear things upstairs soon after..it turned out a bird had flown down the chimney,dragging a ton of soot with it and breaking a few ornaments..

Want my boyfriend to go investigate but he stays in bed and sends me instead!!
Would probably grab some sort of weapon type thing, don't sleep with a baseball bat under my pillow tho - that sounds darn uncomfy!

No way pick up the baseball bat put on the main security lights and go down stairs if no one there look at the security camera and rewind it to see what happened if no one about back to the land of nod

i stare into the darkness and panic, and just hope it's a ghost!
if the noise starts coming up the stairs, then i start looking for things to throw at whoeva it is. cos i dont even own a baseball bat.

Normally nudge my boyf again and again and again - then when he doesn't wake up I get annoyed and that spurs me on to make a great deal of noise, (to warn whoever it is downstairs that I am awake and that they have precisely two minutes to get the hell out of my house).
If the noise persists I will go into my toy cupboard and find something suitable for the situation, lol.
I have two dogs though downstairs and although very quiet make enough noise to wake the dead if someone was to try and get in my domain - my poor postman!

Usually hide under the duvet then get too hot so have to get up anyway!

I just go back to sleep because the cat has done knocked over something again or one of the birds threw a big toy in their cage.

I lie in bed and shout at it. 9 times out of 10 it's the cat dicking about with the cat flap.
