for some reason the floor in back of the driver side is always wet!! i think this has something to do with the water in the a.c. that is somehow getting inside the car. what can be causing this?

If it were water from the air conditioning it would be on the right front floor unless you also have rear air conditioning on that vehicle. I am not familiar with that vehicle enough to know if you have a separate rear air conditioning as they do on most minivans. If there is a separate rear air conditioning unit, you would have to get the drain tube for the evaproator cleaned out. I suspect you don't have rear air conditioning.

I also don't know if you have a sunroof in the car. I'm going to guess that you do. The reason I ask is that the sunroof drain tube typically runs from the sunroof down the center pillar and out at the bottom of the door. There are usually two drain tubes, one on each side of the car. If that drain tube is clogged at the outlet the water could back up and flood the floor. It would be more likely if you wash the vehicle or if it rains a lot in your area.

other than that, you may have a bad weatherseal on the left rear door or a misadjusted door that is not keeping enough pressure on the seal. You would have to wash the car or have it in rain for this to cause the floor to get continually wet.

hope that gives you some direction

Chances are that the drain hose has slipped off the back of the evaporator core box or that the drain hose itself is plugged. good luck
