In june when my echinaceas started blooming they were a beautiful purple. Now the ones that are blooming are almost white. Whats up with this?

Mine get faded looking as the season progresses. It's pretty normal. I also found that the Echinaceas that got more sunlight have a deeper color to begin with, than the same type with less sun.

Are you feeding them differently? Different minerals in the soil can give blooms different shades.
