keep them clean and in a paper folder

if they skip wash them with luke warm water and dish soap

rinse them off carefully in circular rotation with a klennex

if this continues it not the disc itself but the player

I stilll have discs from 12 years ago and they still work

That's happened to me, but I played this paticular CD over and over again. I would just try to first clean the CD player and the CD drive on the computer> Then before you start make sure that before burning it is in AUDIO mode if that doesn't work then try buying different blank CDs (a small amount) and try that. If it doesn't work, my only suggestion is to keep burning new ones. Sorry....I had the same problem only to find out after spending about 40.00 on blank CDs and wasting all of them that my mode was set to text (for burning).

Are you handling it correctly? Are there scratches on it? Have you written on it with a magic marker? Are you leaving it in the sun? Any of these things can cause problems.
