I want points.
Because it makes me feel better about myself.
Because that makes me feel better about my life.
Because that makes me take chances.
Because that may help me reproduce.
Because my evolutionary goal is to reproduce.
Because it furthers the survival of the species.
Because that is encoded in our DNA.
Because a single celled organism was created out of inorganic material.
Because.
Because we're all here by accident, right?

Because I am generally interested in helping others with their questions. I feel that by answering questions for people in need we could possibly help the world be a better place. You've got questions we've got answers.

I felt compelled by an entity not of this world. An entity that lived, not centuries ago, but like 5 minutes in the past. This entity was a beautiful spirit, responsible for moving things in people's houses that they swore they just put there this morning. This entity manifested herself in my head and said in a hushed, lovely whisper, "you need to answer that question. After you've answered you must get off your butt and go to work. You have a deadline and it must be met. Before I go....can you validate my parking?" Then, just like that, she was gone. I'm going to miss her. Have a nice day.

Because through expressing myself in this way I feel closer to some kind of existence - I'm not merely ether, I can relate to other people and I do have an effect, however insubstantial.

Because I didn't want to feel left out. I wanted to be part of the "in-crowd." Those who submitted a basically non-answer to a.... well.... basically, non-question.

Because I'm painfully bored and my brain isn't functioning on a high enough level to answer anything more involved than this one.
