I am interest in all sorts of anime/manga especially Saiyuki.
So Should I subscribe to Newtype Magazine? Why or Why not?
Is there anything good in the magazine? Whats inside it?
Do people buy old in good conditon newtype magazines? cuz i see them on ebay.

NewType contains a lot of information on upcoming American releases, and articles on what is currently popular in Japan. The part I like the most is the demo DVD, which includes 2 or 3 episodes from series that are being released in the USA.
You could get most of the same information for free by keeping an eye on www.animeondvd.com (they have a very good page which lists the next several months of upcoming releases), and the various online sites for downloading episodes to preview series, to see which ones you want to buy. It wouldn't be a glossy magazine, but the content would be almost as good, and you'd save $7 per month.
My recommendation is: subscribe IF trends in Japan are really important to you, IF you don't want to preview series online (questionable legality), AND IF the money for the subscription is not that big a deal to you. If $80 a year is a big chunk of your allowance, and you're going to have to do without 4 to 5 anime DVDs (or 8 manga volumes), you might consider whether that is a good trade.

it is one of the more expensive magazines i think that are out there. they let you know what is new in the manga/anime world, new video games, new trends. sometimes they have spoilers and articles on animes many of us have not heard of and of course the free posters. :P you save money with a subscription, but sometimes there might enough not be articles you like in a certain one.
