The first day you get your period is Day 1.

The first day of your next period is the next Day 1.

So how ever many days are in between are how long your cycle is.

If you get to Day 44, and the next day you get your period (Day 1), then you have a 44 day cycle.

Check out http://www.mymonthlycycles.com It worked for us, and I had a long cycle, too. :o)

39 weeks, 4 days. :o)
