Why do parental units torture their kids like that, and make them go to the dentist?!?!?!

Yeah, I'm supposed to take my oldest there next month for a check-up. So far, so good. She's good about brushing her teeth and stuff, so she has really healthy looking teeth. I keep her going so that she preservest hat beautiful smile that I love so much about her!!
