I plan on spending little to no money untill I leave for college. So my concerns are what banks are best for saving money and have the best student programs for college. I plan on getting my degree for counceling, so a good small buisness plan for later would be helpful, but not essential.

Look into credit unions first. They are more 'user friendly' than banks.

You need to go to a bank and ask questions all banks are good but you as a customer needs to be happy at your bank is there a bank close to your high school go to the bank talk to a personal banker and tell them what is going on ask for ideas if you are happy with the way you are treated I would try that bank-you are the customer and you are the one that needs to be pleased on what that bank can do for you!

chances are you are under 18 so one of your parent will have to act as a trustee.. i would go to a local back -- it will not pay as money in interest but your are only talking about two years and the reference the local banker will give your later is worth the difference in cash!!!
