I have Charlie Frye on my fantasy team's bench (he's my only other QB), and I need to know when to free up space and cut him loose.

Get away from all CLE QB this year. Quinn is probably the best QB, but with his holdout, he has to earn the respect of the CLE team and veterans. You know that is even more difficult being a rookie.

CLE will play Anderson and Frye first to see which one of those non-rookies can try to lead this team. After they are 2-8 or something like that, then Quinn may get some reps in.

At best, he'll be able to play and inject some energy into the team similar to Vince Young. The only problem is, Vince Young is a much better runner and most importantly, a better leader. I doubt Quinn will have much of an impact until the season is long over

Stick with Frye. His only competition for the starting job this year will be Derek Anderson. Quinn missed quite a bit of camp due to his contract holdout, and still has to learn the offense, so he has a lot of catching up to do. Quinn shouldn't be a factor this year so don't worry about having to cut Frye.

I'd say about game 8-10. Not that Frye isn't better than Quinn (he is), but that's about when the Browns will be toast and will take a "what the heck" attitucde to see what Quinn can do.

Quinn will be named the starter for week one with an offense based on Lewis running the ball and short pass routes. Anderson or Frye aren't the answers for a team that is rebuilding....dump Frye now.

I dont recognize the way long it incredibly is going to take the amazing Quinn to pan out for the Browns Elk. I say provide him 2 years such as you assert and if he hasnt replace into the super canines interior the kennel then it will be time to look someplace else for a beginning Qb. i think of he would be fantastic in spite of the shown fact that the newborn has expertise and that i think of he will make a first rate Qb as long as he's given a wager and not predicted to be king crapper of turd lake from day one

If your starting QB doesn't have a bye til week 8 or later, I would just cut Frye loose now...he won't be starting by week 8...

Unless he gets injured, Frye will complete the season. If he does get injured, Anderson will take over. Quinn is too expensive to throw in during his rookie season.
