been in a bar...and had the sudden urge to get up on the table and dance...the people in tgi's tonight got a free show.lol.x.

I'm only 17, I've never been in a bar before.

I am thrilled that I am a little older ( not too much) and long before health & safety boring legislation and people moaning about everything and being really boring.
This means I have had plenty of opportunities to dance on tables and have a real good laugh while downing a shooter.
Mind you if I did it now I would probably pull something!!

I used to work for Greggs (pasty shop) and on our first Christmas do we were up at the front near the stage, dancing on our table! We even got the Managing director up there with us - you should have seen the disgruntled look on his wife's face! (He was loving it!!!)
Anyway, the next year they put our shop on a table right at the back, behind a pillar. Every time it looked as if someone was about to get on the table, a waiter would come over and get us down!! Spoilsports!! We made that party the first year!!!

I used to go to a bar in the 80s and they gave out tambourines and the girls were expected to get on the tables and dance, the bar staff got on the bar, everyone had a great time. doesn't happen any more tho :(

As the bartender, I'm not allowed to do that. I don't know why but they made a real fuss about that. They said "Bunny, there will be absolutely NO dancing on tables. Understand??!!" I don't know who they've been talking to but I'm not one to do that kind of thing *wink*

No I haven't, but I have seen some pretty wild ones in Daytona Beach, Florida.(over spring break) get up on the tables...and they really could dance.....thank you

I once engineered a game of twister on a table in a bar with beer mats....left leg on heineken....right arm on carlsberg.....

yeah i did once. it was new years and i was dancing on the table. security told me to get down or i'd get escorted out. i patted the baldy security guard on the head and jumped down =)
