When you was a kid what could you buy for just a dollar?

You could come out of a store with all your pockets and hands fill with candy...and still have a nickel or 2 left..

When I was a lad, I could buy 20 cokes for a dollar or 10 candy bars, 100 bubble gums or 10 ice creams. About 10 to 20 times more than now. A dollor today is only worth around 5 1/2 cents in buying power. I'm 66 and just wonder how long it will be before our money is worthless.
