As a Jays fan, he's one of our bright spots for the future. If Burnett could actually stay healthy in 2008, we'd have a great top 3 with Halladay-Burnett-McGowan. Assuming we can improve on Litsch-Towers at the back of that rotation, there's actually hope for next season.
The Jays really need things to go right to keep up in that division. And having those three guys healthy could make all the difference. Finally, I agree - I love the chops.

Yeah man, McGowan is a definite bright spot on the rotation, and yeah his sideburn chops are insane awesome. Oh, and Craig S, you forgot Marcum for the rotation if Burnett is healthy next year.
Halladay, Burnett, McGowan, Marcum, Chacin/Litsch
pretty sweet if thats wut it will be next year.

Who? Never heard of the guy. Besides, Mauer's chops are so much better.
