lol - u should have seen the one that ran across my dining room floor last week - it was that big that i could actually hear it walking across the laminate flooring !
after i got past the silent scream stage (was to freaked to actually scream) i put a bowl over it (it was too large to fit under a glass) and then slid some cardboard under the bowl. when it was trapped, i went outside, well away from the house, and let it go.
personally, i can't bring myself to squash a spider. i'd rather catch it and let it go.... even if it does stress me to have to go chasing after the damned thing !

I had one when I lived in digs no need to kill it. You could hear when it ran across the wooden floor it will keep down the yourother pests. The one I had was a Cardinal spider.

Sort it out? Do you mean get it out? Where do you live? What kind of spider is it? Is it hairy? Does it have a large abdomen? Is it black, brown, multi-colored? Is it shaped like a shield? I'd love to help you, but I need more info.

Ask him if his name is kevin, if it is it's my pet spider and I'd like him back, if not, stick a glass over it a plate underneath the glass and then show it the door - spiders are cool don't be afraid

Grab a glass, get it over spidey and get some paper underneath. Spider goes outside and no one has to die in the process.

You mean to tell me you are tough enough to bite a person but you are afraid of a harmless spider?
Shame on you!
