I am not American, but I've been humiliated by a lot of them because of my nationality. When I was there, I was called sensitive when I defended my country. And the funniest of all, some people got mad at me cause I did not worship America. But I have great American friends as well. But I've noticed in my trips that the dislike for Americans grows.

Clearly you're referring to a specific situation. You'll need to elaborate-- start my changing your Q & A from PRIVATE, so we can all see what you're talking about.

I can be sensitive when I feel like it. I can also laugh at myself.

Oh, heck, no. I mean, if you can't laugh at ME, who CAN you laugh at? :)

Seriously, though, America's a wonderful place, but it does have it's contradictions. (We pray for peace while funding war, for example.) If you can't laugh, you just go nuts.

Laughing at ourselves is one thing. Having other people MAKING FUN OF US is entirely different. Perhaps you should consult your dictionary for the definition of 'FUNNY'? Because you're not it.

You must be pretty sensitive yourself-- your Q & A's are set to PRIVATE.
