Lighter colors never look as shiny as darker colors do. One reason people buy the silver or grey colored cars is that the 'hide the dirt' better than dark colors because there is a lower contrast. so the first thing to do to make it shine more is to make sure its clean.

the second is to use a good quality car wax. the brands I prefer are Mothers or Meguiers. Both make liquid waxes that are easy to apply and remove.

the secret to making it look its best is to increase the contrast between those things that are silver and those that are not. That means you need to use a product such as a tire dressing to make the tires black as well as cleaning out the area behind the wheels and putting the tire dressing on them as well. You also need to do the weatherstrips around the doors.

Lastly, and the one thing that will make the biggest difference is to clean the glass in the car so that it sparkles. You don't realize it, but glass makes up about 40% of the surface area of the car. Its an old used car trick--clean the glass and the car will look clean. There is an old product that is still available called 'Glasswax' which works wonders. If you can't find it, then use Windex and go over the clean glass with RainX to add additional lustre.

Hope that answers your question and gives you some ideas
