Terrorist threats, bird flu, pandemics, etc are all made up to put fear into us and therefore gives the government control over our minds and our fears and limits the things we do. Wake up and realize it. The only real danger is global warming and the War in Iraq. We don't need to lose any more soldiers.

9/11 happened but it was by chance, and it we were not in Iraq, terrorists wouldn't be taking US soldiers. There is proof of global warming, the people who say it isn't are paid by gas and coal companies. Just wake up.

The amount of money spent on the war could have the WHOLE country green. The trillions of dollars could have paid for all of our energy needs and the war over oil would be meaningless.

After reading these answers, the only thing I get is that republicans make me tired! Their continued rhetoric is a pain in the @ss! It is their way, or the highway! BS!
If we don't support the war, we are unpatriotic! Untrue!
If we don't believe the reasons Bush gave for going to war, albeit, Sadaam and his (ha ha ) WMD means that we are pro-terrorists? Funny! Didn't bush let the Bin Laden family leave the country after 9/11? Oh, Is it a case of do as I say, not as I do?
The fact that we think Bush is a war monger, and that he uses fear control to keep all of us in check, makes us paranoid? Absolutely not!
This administration is so full of lies and deceit! That is no theory, it is truth!
What we do want is for our soldiers to be withdrawn from Iraq! Before the total of those soldiers killed, reaches 5000 !
The bigger question is, why do you want them to continue being in a country that does not want them there? Why do you want them fighting terrorists in the wrong country? Why do you arm the other side, and then expect our guys to fight them with inferior armor?
Better still? How in the hell do you people sleep at night?
As for global Warming? Believe what you choose! But don't be too surprised when it smacks you in the face!

Well, you're halfway there. Once you realize it's ALL B-S, you've got it. Global warming? C'mon! The greatest progress in humankind is MADE during periods of global warming, and this ain't one.
And the war in Iraq? I'd be willing to "stay the course" if someone told me what the course was. Don't tell me we're bringing "democracy" to the Middle East, 'cause that ain't happening.

I agree with you 200%!! My list would have been a lot longer than just three items.
If the Republicans win in 2008, we will be in Iran next, if Bush doesn't put us there 1st. Every single GOP presidential contender wants the war to continue. They have also vowed to continue tax cuts (to the wealthy). How can you continue a war of this magnitude without raising taxes? Counterfit more US dollars & continue borrowing from China? China owns us.
People are tired of the fear mongering & the elevated terror alerts. ENOUGH ALL READY!! The best advice we can give anyone is to vote, vote, vote!

Terrorists threats are REAL. Wire tapping was a good thing because it stopped a bombing of the Brooklyn Bridge. If you watch CNN only, you probably did not know about it. Global warming is a scare tactic too, ya know. The global temp has only risen .7 of a degree in 100 years. Ooh real scary! Don't believe all that Al Gore says. He is a scaremonger as well as the bird flu crew.

You have it partially right but THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GLOBAL WARMING! http://www.21stcenturysciencetech.com/articles/Ice_Age.html
Type in new ice age on google and there is a ton of stuff. Revolutions only start when a few people decide to stand up what is right. It isn't going to be easy to take back our country from such tyranny, but IT IS TIME FOR A REVOLUTION!

Oh man, you were doing so great until you got to global warming! IT'S THE SAME TRICK FROM THE OTHER PARTY. Politicians create fear because they can then offer solutions to these articificial problems (like carbon offsets, or Homeland Security), as tools to lead people in. What FDR knew, that none of them understand anymore, is that the opposite of fear isn't security, it's hope. Find something to give people hope, and they'll do anything to keep it alive.

You like to pick and choose what you believe, huh? I think the media hypes all of those things out of proportion. Some of those things: they're real, just not as big a threat as they make them out to be. It was a slow news day and some idiot reporter decided to make it BREAKING NEWS! The war? Don't get me started on that monstrosity. As for global warming... if people can't see that botanical gardens all over the world have had to change what they grow because of the climate change in recent years and that polar ice caps are nearly gone what's it going to take?

I think terrorist threats are real, probably more so than global warming. The bird flu pandemic was a scam to allow the government to buy millions of doses of vaccine that never would have worked anyway.

So, what have you done for fear of global warming? Voted Green or democrat? Ditched your car for public transit? Rallied in support of the Kyoto treaty? Good thing your mind isn't being controlled or the things you can do limitted....
