sounds like your friend didnt really evaluate her husband very well while they were dating. It's not the vows... the guy has always been a douche. You really arent that descriptive though in what the guy is doing wrong. I mean just by what you said there is always the possibility that your friend is being too picky with a lot of stuff and he gets frustrated or something like that but it's really hard to evaluate the situation with only the description of a butthole that was wearing some sort of mask.

All women feel this way after marriage. For months leading up to the wedding she focused on the event and fantasized about having a Cinderella wedding with Prince Charming. Now, she's married and realized he's actually human and this is tough on almost all new brides.

Also, he probably trying to figure out a way to pay for all the expenses of the wedding and she's picking out expensive drapes, etc.

They'll be okay, they just both need to grow a little...

Why does a woman positioned on makeup and seem incredibly, to get the terrific attainable mate, Serously, if a guy with a great beard crawled out of a swamp clutching a ineffective tiger could you mate with him, of path no longer you may mate with the properly groomed guy interior the corner.

They don't turn into buttholes.....these men were already buttholes.

Either they hid who they really were.....or it's usually the woman wasn't paying attention to all the signs before they got married.

I think it was Home Improvement with Tim Allen that gave this immortal line - Men marry women expecting them to remain the same, women marry men expecting them to change.

I suspect that your friends husband has alway acted this way and she magically expected him to change into prince charming because they got married and when he didn't she started ragging on him to change which pissed him off which of course pissed her off some more, which caused her to rag on him some more which pissed him off further, etc... Add into this unrealistic expectations on BOTH their parts about marriage and you can see why half or marriages end in divorce.

ALL people change after marriage -- including women. Once people become married, they know that they no longer need to be on their best behavior and can just be themselves.

BTW, I think that it is strange that your friend didn't see any warning signs before she tied the knot. Surely she saw how he treated his friends, family, and strangers. She just choose to ignore it.

She should be happy to see him for what he really is before she completely destroyed her. She should leave and find some one else. If she "tries to straighten him out" she will wind up in the same place with a lot more baggage. There are good guys out there don't stay and be unhappy!

It only happens when the woman becomes a b*tch after the vows....

That and the fact that after the ring goes on, most women think the days of BJ's are over !

She's probably reaping what her married attitude sows....
