Sometime between 1990 -98. I don't know the title and I remember very little of it, except that it's a foreign film from either China or Japan and it's about this married man and wife, and she dies and returns as a ghost when he gets remarried. She becomes evil. I know that's vague, but I remember her wearing white, and I think she inhabits his new wife and tries to seduce him. Thanks!

One of the Tomie movies perhaps?
It's not actually a "ghost".. she's a demon who appears human.. they indicate that she died, but then his daughter brings a friend h ome, and it's her.. she then tries to get him to kill his daughter.. (in one of the movies but there is not only a series of full length movies, there are also some shorts.. the set is sold together on amazon as the Tomie Collection)..
I have no idea which one it would be.. or what years they were made..b ut I do know that the first one is from probably the early 90's
