Ok, I am aware that Muse is not Jazz music. However, I believe that the song here:

does or could qualify as some form of Jazz. I would appreciate very much if, whoever answers this question, could list some songs, artists, or bands, that have a sound similar to that song. Thank you very much and it's greatly appreciated.

Hi! You've got great taste! This gorgeous song was written by Anthony Newley for the 1966 Broadway musical 'The Roar of the Greasepaint—the Smell of the Crowd.' My favorite cover is by Nina Simone. She had amazing taste in music. You'll want to check out her discography for more songs. B. B. King, too..... what comes to mind is "The Thrill is Gone." How about Laura Nyro.."Good-bye Joe"..etc. ...listen to her music. Marc Cohen singing '"Walking in Memphis'... Journey's "Don't Stop Believin.' Listen to Charles Aznavour.. "Une Enfant.... Ramsey Lewis playing "The Love Theme from Spartacus!" They're not Muse.... but it's all in how the music's interpreted:) I hope this helped and have fun!

The song was written by Anthony Newley (music) AND Leslie Bricusse (Lyrics) - let us not minimize what Mr Bricusse brought to us in his wonderful lyrical forms!

This was originally a show tune, but many show tunes have been turned into jazz standards, such as:
Softly, As In A Morning Sunrise
My Favorite Things
Mack the Knife
...and many, many others.

I agree that Nina Simone does a great job on this song, as does Carmen MacRae, but there was some guy who sang it recently and it was used as the theme for ESPN's World Series of Poker commercials. Does anyone know who that was?

Anyway, back to your question. Here are some suggestions on this style you request:

Steely Dan, of course - mostly on Gaucho and Aja, but also Donald Fagen's Nightfly, Kamakiriad and their new releases since 2000 (not the live stuff).
A lot of Dave Matthews' stuff (Crash or Listener Supported, for example)
