Liberals. They want to accept terrorism, they want Social (Socialist) programs, that never teach an American on them, to do for themselves, and be free from control, but only to take from those who do get up off their butts and work, to provide for them. Libs don't care if America is weak, why I can't tell you, since all of their freedoms they have today were won by our military past and present, through hard work, pain, and a lot of blank suffering, and anguish, even knowing they may die. Believe me, I will never understand that. Would they like us to be like Europe, who live on what their government gives them, one example being Universal Health-Care, which is already shown doesn't work? Euros live with terrorism, but we are America, the land of the free, the home of the brave, that is what we stand for. If we do anything less than to defend ourselves against tyranny, government, and those who try and take our freedoms away, then we become liars, losers, and just like everybody else. How can America ever tolerate being average? How could we ever accept anything but excellence? How can America ever accept going back to being England's colony (being they accepted terrorism, until we jumped into kicking terrorist butt, after 9/11. WE led the world against terrorism, not they.) Why would we want to decrease our own strength, let terrorists reign over the greatest country to ever live?????? Thank God there are Conservatives left in America, or we would all be back to being controlled by some other Nation, or terrorists, who are not a Nation at all, but mere murderers of innocent people, who cannot fight back, being they're attacked by surprise. Libs want the easy way out, lay down because they're too busy for the safety of their own people, and their country. Whatever they're doing besides claiming to feed the poor, when they're not, I don't know. Well, maybe they're watching Fox News on the couch they got from the Salvation Army? Paid for by your local Conservative taxpayer, no doubt.

I don't know how to explain it any better than if they blow us up we won't have any freedoms protect and it will be because some people were to spoiled to wait a half hour in line. It seems worth standing in line and having my bags searched for, do you think terrorists are going to be like oh well we got them once we are done, no WAKE UP they are plotting again it was on the even on the liberal news. If we leave they never said they are going to stop attacking so they need to be taken care of.

People are so far into their views they can't see how much not having searches and security measures will hurt this country, we might as well not have seat belts either I guess because it will wrinkle my shirt, or maybe people should be searched on the borders in Canada and Mexico, lets see how long we have freedom if that happened. My guess is not very long, because there are people trying to harm us weather you want to believe or not they are still there.

4.Permit free trade between all nations regardless of affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of political domination.
7.Do away with all loyalty oaths.

American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
9.Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions
10.Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression.
11.Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
12.Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
13.Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."
14.Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of
"separation of church and state."
15.Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the ideas in textbooks.
16.Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

does any of this sound vaguely familiar? i think a terrorist with a bomb is at least open but this has flown under our radar and was accomplished while we were sleeping.

Actually neither. It is the unelected civil servants in the Justice Dept., State Dept. and Judges in the Federal Courts that are slowly taking away our freedoms and rights. Now I'm not ignoring politicians and terrorists, but terrorists are a threat to life and a cause of fear. Politicians can be taken out of office by angry voters at the election poll or by using the recall method.

We are our own greatest threat to our freedoms and liberties. So long as we become less and less vigilant with our elected officials and do nothing to vote out the corrupt and/or incompetent ones we will slowly watch our freedoms and liberties erode.

Just as bad is our tendency to rely on government to solve all our problems, self wrought or not. In so doing we cede more and more of our rights to "big brother" instead of forcing ourselves to grow and become more responsible for ourselves.
