I often hear Black women who date IR say that they've had soo many bad experiences with Black men...why do you think that is?
Is it really worse than experiences with men from other races?
Please give detailed answers. Thanks

I've had good and bad experiences with different races of men. I think women who say that all black men are bad are just using that as an excuse to date inter-racially. Personally I feel that if you want to date outside of you race you don't need an excuse, there are good and bad guys from all races. Just do what you feel!

im a biracial woman (black & white) ill only date black men but every relationship ive been in has been bad(maybe i just have bad taste in men) the 1st 1 had a girlfriend & never told me, the 2nd 1 thought he was my father he was so controlling & the 1 im with now that i have a child with is a gambler. but i also know theres bad men in every race. i know white girls that have white boyfriends & theyve told me stories of cheating, abuse, selling drugs etc etc. every race of man is capable of being a dog but nothing a black man does would make me want to date a white man. thats just my preference

I'm white. All my friends have bad things to say. I'm not saying all black men are the same because they are not, but I've heard some bad stories about players, STDs and women being taken advantage of financially by black men. I hear bad stories about other guys too, but my black friends have much harsher things to say about black men than anyone else I've heard. Don't get me wrong, there are some white men out there that I think are scum too, so I'm sure some men are just pigs regardless. It believe it's how they are raised rather than color of skin.

I have heard that before. But when I ask how many Black men they have dated it is usually not many.
I once had a woman say to me with a straight face "I would mess with you even though I dont date Black men, because you dont act Black" .... wtf!
I had to ask her "what do you mean" the first thing she said was "well, you have a job ...." huh?
As it turns out this girl swore off black men because her son's father took her through a lot of sht. but when I asked her about how she could hate black men when her son is a Black man, all she could say is "Im not raising my son to be Black, Im gonna make sure he goes to college"
I couldn't judge her. I let her be her. but I was disgusted.

It's probably because they were stupid (yea I said STUPID) and dated all the bad boys (a.k.a thugs , gangsters, etc.). My sister (before gaining common sense) went out with a wannabe thug and she learned from that experience. If black women are going to white men because they are being mistreated by black men then......LEARN TO CHOOSE BETTER MEN!!

Hi Reisling, id like to answer that. i myself havent had any bad experience with black men. i do have some other reasons why i dont date black men but they honeslty have nothing to do with why i date IR' i always hear from other women that they've been done wrong by them whether they were treated like garbage by them or because they havent stepped up their game, meaning taking care of their responsibilities. whereas they were treated better by men of other races.
But i can only speak for myself. I find black men attractive, though. but not physically attracted to them. i dont like the whole baggy pants, grillz, big tshirts, etc., and i dont like what some of them stand for.
To each their own.

Who hasn't had a boyfriend that was a jerk...it's not just Black men...my co-worker told me a story last week how her ex-husband is now trying to date her cousin.....They're all White...Some men are just bad at relationships..color and race doesn't matter

A man is a man, and as much as society would like for you to believe that men from other ethnicities treat their women better than african american men, it simply not true.

Black men are so complicated.all they care about is your butt.No offense,but that's why i prefer to date other races.
