you mean a medal

yes of course. they now have the best players on the team who they didnt have on the past teams. everyone believes we will win, including the legend Larry Bird.

read this :

from http://www.probasketballnews.com/amico_081507.html

-Unlike American teams of the past, this summer’s lineup features Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant -- who joins holdovers such as LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire.

“Kobe is probably the best player in the world, so he should make a major difference,” Bird says. “I see him doing the same thing for today’s team that Michael Jordan did for us back in ‘92.”-

Gold for us.

They shouuld, having both Kobe and J-Kidd. If they don't, they screwed: they have failed badly recently, and unless they get a gold, USA's presence in the basketball world will continue to diminish. Anyway, I can't imagine them to get anything under a silver medal. They beat the crap out of every team but mabye Argentina, who they lost to in the 2004 Olympics. But then again, it's a different team now, and so they will either get a gold or silver.

GOLD: 90%
SILVER: 8%
BRONZE: 1.5%
Disaster: 0.5%

For what? The Olympics, or just the qualifying tournament? They better win the Americas tournament, but they'll have their work cut out for them in the Olympics where they've been made to look really bad recently.

And I think it's a medal they'll win, not metal.

No. He could no longer even win the NBA championship with a very sturdy Lakers team. He will under no circumstances be waiting to conquer the superb gamers in the international devoid of a few help. yet LeBron and 'Melo does no longer be waiting to win it devoid of Kobe the two.

Yes they will. They got Kobe this year. He can score ANYTIME. Team Blue was down by 10 with 2 minutes to go, Kobe saved them and came back. Once again, he hit the clutch shot and won the game for the blue. But I also like J-Kidd, he makes his teammates better. I still cant believe the Lakers didnt get him.

it would be nice but there not gonna win. yea kobe thats all the talks. last year carmelo was on a tear and they didnt win. he had like 38 pts in 15 mins. thats about all kobe is gonna get to play 15 mins or a possible 20. you have to remember they play everyone so he's not gonna get the chance to dominate like with the lakers.
