Do you think it'll get better in the fall and winter time or does it not make a difference what season it is? Can Yahoo Answers recover from all of this or is it destined to continue to fall? What are your thoughts?

i know!!it just that a lot of good people have just given up coming here!!i don't think the problem is just with the school kids!i have seen many kids who are great!!there are many *adults*who are doing the most damage!before you could answer and you hardly ever got a VC!or thumbs-down!most people DID NOT rudely answer your questions and we had a lot of fun!
i think the report button is the cause for the fall!!and Yahoo not checking the report abuse!!also those perverts who show offensive avatars and ask and answer offensively should be banned from here by yahoo!instead,good people get constantly suspended!

truthfully, i've been on here a year and a half and i haven't noticed an overall difference in how yahoo has administered this site from then to now. there may be seasonal differences as young adults will have other responsibilities, and grown adults find other activities (have they heard of family?) as the weather cools. but overall the experience remains about the same on YA for me, with just the faces and names changing.
some advice to aid in the YA 'recovery' if you feel one is needed....
-do not form cliques.
-do not taunt others and be upset when you get 'caught'.
-do not ridicule the beliefs, avatars or physical characteristics of other users.
-do not 'idolize' avatars. admire people.
-do not spend all your time in 'polls and surveys'. see other perspectives.
-do not predict that you will be suspended, you're inviting others to help your wish become reality.
-do not repeatedly ask the same quesition when YA tells you it has already been asked before.
-do not give thumbs-downs.
-do answer the question put forth.
-do report abuse when it is warranted, but not when it isn't.
-do respect other users, and choose words that reflect that respect.
-do read and understand the terms of service.
-do make YA an enjoyable place for yourself, and for your fellow users.
it's really not too terribly hard to enjoy this site, whether you have a thick skin or not. follow the rules, play by the terms, and be respectful. if we all can do this, there won't be any recovery needed.

interesting question! by some potential they have it in techniques yet i do no longer care plenty. what's important for me is the ease i've got been given from diverse human beings. I stayed plenty interior the philsophy area and that i found many stuff from them. Their diffused techniques are fairly enriching and provides me the exhilaration of undertanding adn the information of it. truthfully, we hit the slippery slope when school was let out for the summer... i'm not saying that the teen input is bad - i have several contacts who are in their teens. a few bad seeds are making it bad for the rest of us, though.
i've been weaning myself off of Y!A for the past 2 weeks, and will stop soon. the current climate has made it really easy, actually. i plan to check in, in the fall to see if the good times are rolling once again. i sure hope they will.

Nothing to do with seasons and school. Some of the biggest haters here are adults. I know I am blocked by a group like this because one contact ran off with no reason why and is having everyone she knows block me. There are more like her out there and it won't get better.

It will only get better when we decide the tyranny of the trolls around here and put them in their place . If we dont stand up to them then they are going to trod us in the dust.
