I feel dirty taking a bath because I feel like i'm swimming in my own dead skin cells. If I have a bath I have to have a shower first.

BUT seeing as i'm in water restrictions, there will be none of that!!

I like showers and ever since I was a teenager and I had a friends mom tell me that taking a bath is like bathing in your own dirt its all I can think about when someone says they are going to take a bath

Well, they have different purposes, to me. I like to shower every morning to wake up and get clean, and to do it quickly and the in the most expeditious way. However, I like to get into my jetted tub sometimes in the evening to relax and read. I throw in some lavender bathsalts to help with the relaxing. Yes, I still wash when I'm in the bathtub, but it's much more leisurely. Oh, and sometimes my husband shares the space with me! There again, two different purposes for each type of bathing! heehee... Also, I have to wonder how filthy these people are who say it's like sitting in dirt. I do agree that if I'm really hot and sweaty or dirty from working in the yard, I take a shower.

I do both. I always take a shower in the morning. I usually reserve a bath for evening times. Baths are much more soothing and relaxing. And I love lots of bubbles and candles.

I like the way the water feels when taking a shower vs. a bath and the water is just in the tub.

Ususally shower because for some weird reason my cat cries outside the door the entire time if I take a bath so that's not very relaxing. But if I take a shower he has no problem.

Shower, I don't like swimming in my own filth. In a shower all the nasties that where just washed off goes down the drain. In a bath, it just stays there. I take a bath to shave, but rinse after.

I prefer taking showers as I don't like the feeling of bathing in my dirt which is what you're doing if you're taking a bath.

Actually, I like to take both. I'll start off with a bath and finish with a shower, but if I don't have enough time or don't need to shave my legs, then I'll just take a shower. I don't like trying to shave during a shower.

I take showers, in a bath you are literally soaking in your own filth. This may be weird, but if I want to take a bath, I take a shower first.
