It means you aren't conceited....congrats!! Or, if you think the opposite, that you are un-attractive, it could mean that you have low self-esteem. I would say be happy people think this about you and try to see it in yourself.

I always wonder the same thing. I always assumed that I am not good looking and that it means that they just that they liked me as a friend or liked my personality causing them to see everything good about my appearance.

It means due to a poor self [low self-esteem] image, you're unable to take a compliment. I have the same problem...

I would think it would be either modesty, low self esteem, or lack of trust on someone Else's commandment

Well, the operative word was "feel" like it which shows me that you might be insecure about yourself. Learn to work on that issue. I'd much rather you be conceited and happy than insecure and weak.

It can be hard to accept a compliment... I know, I've been there too recently. But, just say thank you, and you know what? Soon you'll start to see it too. :)
