Being a savvy internet surfer is no easy task. If you for example write "hotel", as you said, you get millions of results, most of them useless and unrelated information, phony offers, exaggerated claims, you name it.
After the second or third page of results, the novice and anxious surfer may get disappointed in the results and conclude the internet is almost useless. So, What is the next thing to do? To go to discussion groups, or sites like Yahoo! answers and expect that either someone already know what they are looking for and help them, or simply them answerers do their web search job for them, in order to obtain two points at least, for just answering the question, and a bunch of extra points in case theirs is selected as the best answer.
At least in my own particular case, it has taken me several years to barely master web surfing and still, when the search phrase is very specific or not very popular, I get very frustrated by not finding what I'm looking for.

Its great to be able to interact with other people and get other perspectives quickly. The same way google is an important resource for cataloging the worlds information, yahoo answers is just as important of a resource. Now one can post and get worldwide perspectives, opinions, ideas from others in minutes. I would much rather hear from hotels from people that have been there and can talk about it than a website trying to sell it. Cheers

Ok lemme just read your mind and somehow do justice unto the lack of motivation in your life as a result of you being terrifically pissed off at someone for doing what??
for behaving as if they were eager to join you in an idea that was seemingly original to them.
you should probably just hide from people before they arrest you for "not fitting in" which is inevitable if you leave the house in America these days.

Yes, but what would be the fun? Also, which do you prefer: an answer from a person or an organization?
Also, it is "people who", not "people which".

it's because we are lazy, and for the people few without lives they think this counts as having friends.
