No, that sounds a bit possessive.

That's what TRUE LOVE is! I know there's a lot of varied opinions among the answers already, but as a man who has been married for 26 years, and is still quite in love, growing in love, and considers his wife to be his best friend, I can tell you - Love means giving yourself completely to someone. If that is interpreted as "ownership," then yes, my wife OWNS my heart, and I OWN hers. We are still two separate and unique individuals with our own quirks, but my wife KNOWS that she does not have to worry about me messing around on her, and I know the same about her. We truly trust one another, and give ourselves completely to one another.

Its the only way love truly works. Otherwise, you are always worried about that other person, always wondering whether they are true, always thinking that your stuff is yours and his stuff is yours (and vice-versa) - I've watched several co-workers get into some of this, and counseled with some of them...

He cannot - you need this for circulation and keeping cardiovascular activity at an optimum rate. Buy him a pig's heart, put it in a box and tell him that's your heart. Trust me - he won't tell the difference AND he won't want your hear after that!
