I have raised baby bunnies, and prefer them over puppies. No going out at 2 am or in 3 feet of snow for mother nature calls! Bunnies are great pets but need a lot more attention than most people realize. If you keep it inside, you need to house train it so it can roam freely. Buy or build a run so it can hop and play outside when the weather is nice. Don't keep it caged up! If you need any tips, email me.

puppy even though they come with more responsibility, but when you take it out for walks people sometimes come up to you and you never know you could meet some cute guys that way!

if ur worried about the smell and the shedding then get a dog that doesnt shed much, like a short haired "something" (not too familiar with the dog names)

i want a rotweiler! just remember that puppies dont stay puppies forever.

For sure a puppy. But if you are young, I would go for the bunny to start out with. A puppy is ALOT of work-potty training, obedience training, playing, exercising, etc. do take alot of time to do. You can train your bunny to do other things too, but you need to actually take the time and have the patience...good luck!

Baby puppy FOR SURE!!! They are so much more fun because they are so playful and snuggly and cute.... Plus, bunnies barely even show emotion. If you're too worried about the dog shedding, you should get a cocker spaniel or a poodle. Neither shed and I have a poodle and he is AMAZING.

Whatever you do, don't get a Jack Russell for a puppy because when they grow up they are high maintence. I have 2 of them and I don't let anyone under 6 pet them. Whatever your pick you sound responsible to care for either one. Just remember if you get a dog, you are the boss at all times!

I think you should better get a baby puppy :)
Both are cute but bunnies really smell and poop a lot(a friend who has one told me that)...unless you have a house with a garden so there is no problem!

Go with the puppy, its messiness will be easier to clean (you can always vacuum up the shed fur) but, withe the bunny, you'll have to clean the cage!

I used to have a bunny as a pet, not quite the same as a dog.
Bunnies are very timid and I always felt bad for keeping the poor thing in a hutch
