I live in the US, and I've always wondered if it snows over in the UK. If so, how much?

Yes. We always get excited when there's a chance it'll happen on Christmas day. People aren't prepared for heavy snow so when it happens there are road and school closures etc....maybe even five inches or less and there's a problem.

I lived in Aberdeen Scotland from 6/02 until 8/03 and yes it does snow in the UK. It all depends on the location as the mountians will have more snow then the lowlands...Aberdeen had about 1 inch that year if I remember correctly, but the highlands received more

Yes it does. In the past century London has had 9 white Christmases.
