Well, the only thing I have tried so far that I really couldn't eat was frog legs. It was just gross. But I don't consider that the worst MEAL I ever had.

It had to be this time when my boyfriend and I went to eat Sunday dinner at his mother's house. She was probably the nicest lady I had ever met. Just the sweetest thing in the world. BUT, she really needed some cooking lessons!

You see, she served us some beef roast and mashed potatoes and some kind of vegetables. Doesn't sound too bad, eh?

Well, the roast was COMPLETELY dried out. I mean it was like stringy cardboard. Me and my boyfriend and his sister were all sitting there politely trying to eat it, but it literally could not go down, it was so dry! And there was nothing to put on the potatoes either, not even butter or sour cream or anything!

Finally, my boyfriend said, "Ummm...mom? Where is the gravy?" She said, "Oh, I am saving that for tomorrow" and just went on eating like there was nothing the matter.

We joked about that for months. I mean who did she think was going to eat that stuff tomorrow if it was so awful today???

Anyhow, luckily we all lived and she did make some better stuff later on, but as you can imagine, I was not too excited the next time she invited us over -- but it was actually better than the first time.

While on a circumnavigation, after a 14-day passage to the South Pacific, we were really craving a pizza when we arrived at Marquesas.
We found a place that claimed "best pizza on the island" and went in. It was us, an old woman a boy of about 14 and a cat.
We ordered a pepperoni and pineapple (house special) and waited for about an hour drinking expired Michelobs.
When the pizza came out it was like a giant stale saltine cracker with ketchup, cheese and something ground up that may or may not have been pepperoni with a little sprinkle of cheese on one end.
We finished our beer, took the pizza and fed it to the cat that was following us back to the boat. We ate at mcDonald's

It was at a fancy convention in Washington DC in a hotel and catered. Well the salad had soggy croutons on top of it and the tomatoes looked awful. Then the main course came and it was a big steak that was bleeding on my plate. That was bad and then some lumpy potatoes and overdone garlic bread. Lets just say I was really regretting my mother teaching me to eat everything even if I don't like it. "There are starving kids in Africa". I got so sick. I think right up there would be lutefisk (fish soaked in lye) but I have been fortunate enough to avoid having to eat that. Which is a miracle for northern Minnesota.

The worst meal I've ever eaten was at this dive, and I mean dive, restaurant somewhere in Kentucky. Everything was fried..everything. My uncle took me there when I visited him. It was some kind of fish place and the people who worked there were outside catching the fish in a pond behind the place. The food was just plain awful and the service was just as bad.....

When I was a little kid, my grandma cooked beaver tails. She cooks them in the oven with the skin off. It has the weirdest taste (hard to describe to anything else) , and its not soft, it was like hard rubbery beef jerky.
My grandparents , and parents have cooked and ate a lot of diffrent things like that. My grandma enjoys eating fish stomachs, I'm sure that they taste awful because of how bad they smell.
I'm a Native American (but I don't look like one) and I live in northern Manitoba, Canada. A lot of the older people have some unusual dishes here that they love to cook.

At Wollensky's grill in Las Vegas. Pure crap. Service was terrible, the food was worse and gave my mother the sh*ts the next day which meant we didn't get to go to the Grand Canyon. Damn you Wollensky's! It's hard to f*ck up a steak sandwich but they managed spectacularly. Soggy bread, dry meat, not enough topping or flavor. Sucks.

After being hospitalized, I was given a boiled egg, a bowl of some gray cr*p that was supposed to be oatmeal (I think), cold whole wheat toast, and tepid instant coffee. Who the h*ll drinks instant coffee made with water so cold that the coffee is insoluble?!

Later Daze! =)

I can tell you the worst meal my 32 yr. old son had! I ordered Chinese food for the two of us and it was so bad he threw the plate along with the fork in the trashcan. I simply couldn't believe what I had seen. It was the worst argument we ever had!!!!!

Worst meal: This year, me and my grade 8 class went for one of our grad trips to this place called ``Teen Ranch`in Orangville, Ontario. For our first lunch, they gave us this crustified, cheese pasta with some horribly made salad (the dressing was just horrednous). And for deserts, we had yellow custard with sprinkles. Me and my friends decided to chug the custard down, like in a contest. I nearly barffed like 3 times. It was grosss
