His dad is supposed to move him into a college dorm this weekend. I went out and bought a clothes basket and filled it with some items I thought me may need. Is this a stupid idea? If you were a college kid, would you appreciate it?

not at all, it's all cool, it is a big step and I remember it well, but after a few weeks the feeling goes away and then you are into a routine and things are great....oh to be in college again

Absolutely! thats a great idea. I always loved recieving "care packages" when I was in college. I think he will definitely appreciate it, especially if it is stuff he can use. Being a guy he might not of thought about all that stuff before he gets there lol. Youre a great friend
