My graphics card stopped working. I tried replacing it with a similar AGP card but it doesn't work either. Will my monitor work if I find an old PCI card?

Yes, It will work, However, if its a regular PCI slot, and you want to play 3D games, it wont work.
But, it'll work for most everything else though.
(P.S. What model motherboard do you have and what model AGP Video card was it that didnt work? It may just be that the card is of a different AGP version and just wont work with that motherboard. eMail me back and I'll look it up.)

Yes, as long as:

1. You are sure the problem doesn't lie with your monitor.
2. You have an available PCI slot.

In my own opinion, a 512mb AGP card could be a entire waste of money. they're so previous and expensive because of the fact they at the instant are not a warm merchandise anymore. you're extra perfect off upgrading your mobo and doing a PCI-E card =/

A PCI card yes, but not a PCI x16 card, which are much more popular.

As long as you have a free PCI slot, it should work fine.
