There are two fees you are charged when you sell on eBay. First of all there are insertion fees which you pay when you list your item. If you item doesn't sell your insertion fees are not refunded. If the item sells, you are charged a final value fee. You are not charged a final value fee if you do not sell the item.

Yes, you have to pay the listing fees. These fees depend on how much you listed the item for and whether you added a gallery photo and anything else extra.

There's a fee for listing an item, so you'd pay that - there are additional fees if your item sells. If it doesn't sell they will usually let you relist it for free.

Yes- you pay for any advertising you use- when you list it will tell you how much it has cost you- or will cost you at the bottom of the page. If it sells you also pay a percentage as well as your advertising fees.
