i just feel like a lot of teens r really responsible & we dont get enuff credit 4 it! not like, here's a cookie george! or anything like that, but like, parents KNOW that we're not doing drugs, & they continue 2 b like, don't u DARE do that, cuz if u do, ur grounded! when most teens wouldnt ever consider doing drugs, or any of that crap. . . i just wanna know if there r any other teens who feel the same way. . . . . =)

The truth is parents were once teenagers too and looking back, you realize how much you really didn't know back then when at the time we all thought like you do now, thinking you know enough about life. I remember feeling the same way. True there are some teens who are more mature/advanced than the majority, but even they have a lot of life lessons ahead of them to learn from. It's really true and one day "you'll see".

I agree....and disagree.
I agree that teenagers are far more responsible than they are given credit for. I mean, most teens in high school are going to school full time, working part-time, and then still finding time for friends/boyfriends/girlfriends/after school actitivities and whatever else.
You dont see adults do this kind of thing, without complaining about being tired and whatever. Also, teenagers are far smarter than given credit for.
But to say that most wont do drugs is a lie. Most people I went to school with, including myself, all indulged in the pot smoking, the magic mushrooms, drinking excessively and whatever. But that is apart of being a teenager. Making mistakes, learning from them, and discovering who YOU are, apart from everything else going on in your life.

you may say that now, but give it a year or 2 and more and more of your friends will be going down the wrong path unfortunatly, so that is where parents fears and constant reminders come from.

i agree with u. but not all teens will cuz, some do, do drugs and other stuff. my mom isnt like that though she knos that she can trust me.

you cant really say alot of teens dont think about ever doing drugs. because alot of them do.
