I have T-Mobile. Basically, I have no service wherever I go, if it is inside. I have 0 bars in my room, which means I still have service but the quality is extremely choppy at best. It's not easy to carry on a normal conversation when you can only hear every third word. In most other places in my house I have no service. At work, I have no service. At my rec center, I have no service. At both of my best friends' houses, I have no service. These places are where I am 80% of the time. I don't know but does that sound acceptable? I hate having to worry that I'm missing an important call (girlfriend or something) simply because I have no service. The only time I don't have to worry is when I'm driving my car.

Also, I should specify that I've had it for about year I've just never done anything about it =\ . I want to know how it can be done without the termination fee. I have heard of a degradation of service clause that can render a contract void. Is there anything similar to this?

I would call up customer service and tell them that when you first signed up, you were told you would have good service in the areas that you use the phone - especially at home. Tell them that currently at home you get 0 bars and that this is unacceptable service. Tell them your phone is unuseable because of this poor service. Ask them if they will wave the early termination fee because you can't use the phone where they promised it would work.

This is a good question. I have sprint and I don't get service at my house or my boyfriends which are the two places I am most of the time. As far as I know you have to pay early cancelation fee's if you want to go with a new service.

I have the same issue with TMobile. My husband has actually left work to come check on me and the kids since the phone would not ring through due to no signal! Read the fine print on your contract and see if there are any loopholes. You may also want to contact the other service provider you wanted to switch to, they may have a loophole or an out to give you so you can go with them. Sometimes if you call to complain enough you can get money off your bill OR they will even let you off the hook themselves if they think you are a PIA. Good luck and I feel your pain!!

the best idea would to be call customer service and explain the problem youre having with youre phone with 0 bars and this is unacceptable with poor service and paying for the service if you cant use youre phone and i dont know if they would let you cancel youre contract without paying the 200 dollars termination fee

I think they will make you pay the Termination Fee. But, you can try calling customer service and asking them. Before you buy a phone, be sure to check the coverage map though! Good luck!

It always depends on the carrier. Generaly there is a grace period after you sign the contract to cancel without penalty. If you are past that time and had to move where there is no service then they might let you out with penalty. If you haven't moved it may take some real sweet talking to get them to let you go.

Most companies give you 30 days to get out of your contract... if, within those 30 days, you cant figure out that it does not work where you need it too... then you are SOL.... if it is still within the first 30 days, just go back to the store and return the phone. You might want to port your number to a different company first so you dont lose it.

Get the settlement holder (your dad) to ring the agency and tell them to dam texts and bar any calls over your settlement quantity each and each month. Then there isn't any way you are able to pass over then. you are able to't end the settlement until you pay something of it off in complete as reported.

No one here can help you with that. You will have to work it out with T-Mobile. Call them.
