That China is trying to kill us. First poisening our dog food and toothpaste and now millions of toys that are not only defaulty but also contain lead based paint. I think it is a conspiracy. Anyone else freaked out by this?

I agree with Blunt- it's also were you shop if you go into nasty store like walmart they have no laws on labor and where their product comes from- they follow no guidelines or rules! Nicer stores like Macy's make overseas factories follow and inspection and fair trading law which means- no kids working, proper bathroom, fire escapes, sleeping quarters, proper lunch breaks and safety laws.
I personally always try to buy USA made but when I can't I buy from stores that have this fair trading laws.
Every time you shop in a walmart- you supporting unethical trade and hurting the USA!

I'm not an expert on this subject, but I think we also need to blame the US for buying their shitty crap.
I mean, why did the pet food mfrs. need to buy rice protein from China? Why do they put that in cat food at all?

When you buy cheap, you get cheap.
The industry is moved by profits and the cheapest human labor possible is in China.
It's not China's fault, but rather the large corporations that sacrifice safety for profit.
