It would not matter a bit as long as the man is a good man to me and treats me with respect along with being a good father to his children and not still involved with his ex like many are. It is the man who matters, the kids are a bonus and should not make the least amount of difference....especially over the sex of them!

Although it seems unfair having children of my own, I would not want to date a man with any children. A lot of men are sneaky dogs and no matter how much they tell you they have nothing to do with their ex, she'll always have and "in" when children are involved. If I just couldn't help myself and was head over heels for the guy, it would not matter the sex of his children, although boys are generally easier to handle than girls.

It would not matter.
First of all you should be worrying about the 2 of you are getting along. You have a package deal but first you 2 have to be strong.
Worry about treating the lady right

If you are looking for a guy with specific genders in children then something is very wrong. People are people and children are children. They all need to loved and taken for what they are not what some "thinks" they are. If someone is so shallow that they judge the relationship possibilities by the gender of someones children - they should STAY single.

If I ever got divorced, and started dating again, I wouldn't care what the sex of my new BF's children were, as long as they weren't young children. (As old as mine, or older...9 & 10). I cant have any more kids, and I wouldnt want to get involved with a man who was still raising kids in diapers.

Why should it matter what sex the kids are or how many? Either you don't want to date someone with kids period or you do and there might be a limit on how many kids you are willing to take on.

What would matter more to me is the relationship he has with his kids and his ex.
~Are the kids well adjusted to their situation?
~Is his ex stable?
~Are the kids constantly going from one house to the other or is it more flexable?
~How serious are you about getting into this relationship?
Boys / girls/ one of each - that really would be the last thing to concider.

I wouldn't really have a choice but if I did I'd chose two boys. I'm a tomboy at heart and just can't deal with the drama of girls, too much pink and purple too.
