That is easy. I come from way back where we had white paste that came in blobs. When we were doing our papers and seat work, the teacher would give each of us a blob of the paste on a paper towel. Ugh. I can still remember the pain of the cramps that stuff gave me. Thanks for the reminder, friend!

Coloured paper would be my 2nd choice but Elmer's glue was my favourite to tell you the truth.

I would dry the glue on my desk or my hands then peel it then eat it. My second favorite was play doh
